OUR STORY
The name of oregano comes from the words "mountain" and "Ganos" where Ganos = brightness, i.e. the plant brightens the mountain. In Ancient Greece is found to be a symbol of joy and happiness as wedding wreaths used to contain and branches oregano and seasoning in cooking and as one of the most important and strongest remedies. Aristotle wrote that if happened and some injured by arrow hunter kid ate oregano, the wound was closed! Also they used drinking tea in colic and externally to swelling and for stiff neck.
In our modern world we should realign to recall some things, to recall ancient therapies which nowadays are confirmed, to redefine our views on many herbs and foods, to redefine the way we live in relation to diet and diseases, to ask why the great physician Hippocrates used mainly herbal medicines, & Aesculapius suggested herbs in a variety of conditions.
